Traditionally, guidelines are developed by physicians to improve quality of health care, to provide practitioners with valuable medical information and to improve objectivity in medical decision making. Determinant aspects of good guidelines, mainly, development methods, discussing, applicability factors such as costs, ethical and legal implications are approached in this article.
