Os usos da teoria sociológica de Pierre Bourdieu em periódicos científicos da área de Educação Física no Brasil

ABSTRACT

The aim of the study was to investigate the process of mobilization of the sociological theory of Pierre Bourdieu in the field of Physical Education in Brazil from the production published in eight periodicals of the field. The data show that 54% of these publications use the referential to reinforce or refute arguments, while 22% of the texts have no strict association with the theory and 24% have a systematic relationship with the concepts underlying this theoretical model. It is concluded that the uses of Bourdieu’s theory are still open in the area, requiring a more systematic investment in this referential.
