Abstract
By considering sport as an aesthetic artifact, amenable to praise and enjoyment in contemporary society, we ask for the expressiveness of the sport from the point of view of its production (of the athletes themselves). To do so, we conducted empirical research with a female rugby team from Florianopolis/SC, toward understanding how they aesthetically represent the sport they practice. Questions related to the forms of play, the beautiful, the ugly, as well as to the technique, the intelligence and the creativity are recurrent. They conform a constellation that seems to indicate modes of aesthetic enjoyment by who are the authors of the sport Oeuvre.
