ABSTRACT
Analyzing how people with physical disabilities, wheelchair users, perceive sport and leisure in the city is the objective of this research. With a qualitative approach, based on ethnographic, the study used participant observation, interviews and field diary with 12 participants. The research built two categories of analysis, one focused on accessibility and the other in the field of relations with society. The results point to a corponormative scenario that territorializes and segregates people with physical disabilities in sports and leisure experiences.
