Abstract
The RBCE has demonstrated its importance and pioneering in publishing texts on leisure since the 1980s, culminating in an entire volume on the theme in the 1990s, as well as a constant presence during the 2000s. From a group of terms related to leisure studies (leisure, recreation, free time and available time), we search for articles on the official RBCE website, considering the title, abstract, keywords and body of the text. After the survey, we began the analysis of 60 articles. We describe the chronological, epistemological and thematic distribution of the work. Finally, with the aim of understanding the meaning of this theoretical production, we bring a set of notes based on authors of critical social theory.
