Abstract
The aim of this work was to map the relevant defensive behaviors and elements front of different offensive systems. Were interviewed four experienced handball coaches, whose speeches were tabulated and analyzed based in the Collective Subject Discourse method. The coaches pointed that front of classic offensive system the floating, the defensive variability and hindering the activities of wings and pivot are essential. Front of offensive systems different of classic, variables as hinder spaces production, perception and adaptability to game situations and changes of defensive systems are important. Thus, specific variables are expected front of technical-tactical scenarios imposed by different offensive systems, which requires specific training.
