Aquatic activities in motor coordination body for teens with intellectual disabilities

Case study type before and after analyzed the contribution of a motor activities program on aquatic coordinating body for adolescents with intellectual disabilities, aged between twelve and fifteen, four months participated in activities in water. Before, during and after the intervention their body coordination was assessed with the KTK test. Statistical analysis was by means of the nonparametric Wilcoxon and software minitab 16. There was improvement in the four tasks of the test, but no statistically significant changes in general body coordination as the total motor quotient of each adolescent was much lower than expected for their chronological age, yet the experience contributed to the coordination body of participants.
