This article is part of a larger research project on male prostitution in Campo Grande (MS). Starting in 2016, this research mobilizes categories of differentiation articulated with gender and sexuality. In this text, we highlight the particularities of male prostitution on the streets of the city. For this purpose, initially, we contextualize the street male prostitution in Brazil based on a series of works that discuss the subject. Then, we reflect upon the street male prostitution scenes in Campo Grande and point out their particularities, taking into account the concepts of apparatus of sexuality and biopolitics. At last, based on a case study of a male prostitute who works in the streets of the city, we analyze the local idiosyncrasies of this business.
