Views on the Use of Flowchart Analyzes in the Teaching of Health Management in the Medical College of UFRJ

Abstract:

This paper discusses the application of na innovative tool for teaching the subject of Health Management and Planning to students in the 8th period of the medicine course of UFRJ. The health organization as a space for creating relationships, and not only as a producer of goods and services, was questioned with the students. The rebuilding of the history of live from several viewpoints turned the information into a device capable of uncovering senses and meanings in the day-to-day actions in health. The use of the flowchart analyzer produced in the students a feeling of belonging to micropolitical dynamics of live health work and also rpovided a new view over the patinet’s history, wich, in its relation with health worker, uses to be full of flaws and noises. The flowchart analyzer reveled a potente information device for students to think about the work proces in health facilities, for identifying the integration among professionals and services as well as the relationships among these and their users, acording to the dimensions of access, hosting, links, accountability, resolution and autonomy.
