Abstract:
As the object of this study, medical work will be trated as a work process historically structured within concrete social realities. The objective was to describe and critically analyze changes in the organization of medical work in the last century, form a Taylorist/Fordist model to a “Japanese” model. The authir conclude that the current contexto is unfavorable to physicians as workers and to society as users of health services.
