INTEGRAÇÃO DOCENTE-ASSISTENCIAL E POLÍTICAS DE SAÚDE: A EXPERIÊNCIA DO ESTÁGIO MULTIDISCIPLINAR

Abstract:

The present article reports activities developed in two years of implementation of a proposal of inter-disciplinary integration (involving the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursery and Nutrition) in teaching “Collective Health” in a health center of Salvador-Bahia-Brazil.

The experience aimed to create a common field of learning practices at a higher level in the health area. Also, it oppened a space for dealing with political­administrative and technical-operational obstacles faced by teaching/care integration proposals. Although emphasizing the limits of the experience, the Authors outline its relevance for allowing the discussion about former teaching models, their determinants and the possibilities of substantial changes which are based on the reorientation of the training of health presonal, linked to the reorganization of services and to the redefinition of current health policies.
