Summary:
The authors report their four-year of intemship experience (junior students) with the dynamic of operative groups: the hierarchich system was left behind and great emphasis was given to general medical culture; teaching was nor centered around the interns anymore and the evaluation was continued.
There was a commitment of the department with the accomplishment of the goals to be achieved in the cognitive, psychomotor and affective areas = a criativeness and critical posture was stimulated.
The conclusion was that the intemship is the most human and efficient way to the learning of medicine.
