Abstract:
In spite of the increasing gap between proficiency in clinical meths and the presente medical practice, Ward rounds are amonf the most cherished strategies at medical school. This paper presentes the expericne with a new tool wich, being carried out within the teaching hospital envioment, links the new curricular demands to the time-honoured clinical skills of the bio-psico-social model. It is the “Guardian Angels” Project, developed at the Faculdade de Medicina of the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, Brazil.
