Evaluation of the pedagogical training process of preceptors of medical internship

This study __ analyzes the texts of the evaluations made by 38 preceptors of two classes who completed the course of pedagogical training in 2008 and 2009, using as theoretical reference the continuing health education and meaningful learning theories, and the method of discourse analysis. This material is characterized by being a potential resource for analysis and evaluation of teacher training experience of the participants. The study on the course evaluation by preceptors allowed not only the analysis of the concepts of health and education undertaken by these professionals, but the manner with which they take such content in their speeches and the relations they build in their personal lives. The appropriation of teaching techniques and assessment referenced in the current criticism of education, the upgrading of the preceptor and the mobilization of individual and social capacities of transforming healthcare practices and education proved to be important aspects of assessments examined.
