Agronomical perfomance of passionfruit genotypes cultivated in Brasília

The present work had the objective to evaluate the yield of 14 genotypes cultivated in Brasília. A design with randomized blocks with four repetitions, 14 treatments (genotypes) and 8 plants per plot was used. Fourteen genotypes were assessed: [PCF-2, EC-RAM, MAR 20#03, MAR 20#09, MAR 20#23, MAR 20#36, MAR 20#46, AR-01, AR-02, Yellow Master FB-200, FP-01, RC-3, GA-2, A-1], totalizing 1.111 plants per hectare. Supplementary irrigation was performed. The parameters analyzed, after twenty harvests or 9 months were: yield (kg/ha); average fruit weight, number of fruits and peel color. In the general evaluation, there was a highest yield of genotypes PCF-2 with 15.8 t/ha, EC-RAM 13.9 with t/ha, FP-01 with 12.4 t/ha and o AR-01 with 12.3 t/ha. Among the 14 genotypes evaluated, 2 produced more than the national average of 13 t/ha/year in 2008 (IBGE data, 2008). The average fruit weight ranged from 105g for PCF-2 to 192g for genotype AR-01. These results are to be considered outstanding when compared to other works. The number of fruits ranged from 33,666 fruits/ha in genotype RC-3 to 142,791 fruits/ha in PCF-2. All genotypes showed larger production of yellow fruits, followed by pink and purple fruits.
