Editorial
Dear readers,
We are happy to launch the first issue of volume 19 of the Brazilian Journal of Pharmacognosy. As an innovation and in order to publish the big number of articles already accepted, we will publish this issue in two separate magazines. Thus, we are launching the issues 1A and 1B of volume 19. We are sure that doing this we will by the end of this year, equilibrate the demand of articles. This extra effort for the publication of eight issues instead of four generated a big work charge. In order to help us carry on the new reality we are now counting with an executive secretary, who has been demonstrating so far great dedication end efficiency. Besides the extra work it is clear that this also generated new expenses. For this reason, the authors were asked to contribute with a small charge to publish their works. At this point we would like to thank the authors for their comprehension. We believe that at the end of this year we will be celebrating another historic record for the Brazilian Journal of Pharmacognosy, publishing eight issues in one single volume with more than two hundred articles. As we always do, we thank the authors for believing in our work by submitting their articles to be published in the Brazilian Journal of Pharmacognosy, also the great contribution of the referees and to all members of the Brazilian Society of Pharmacognosy, who are the real mentors of our Journal.
