Este artigo trata de questões relativas aos limites entre o cinema e a literatura e considera a adaptação fílmica como uma forma de tradução. Baseado em alguns princípios teóricos que procuram sistematizar uma nova perspectiva nos estudos da tradução, discute-se a tradução de "Mrs. Dalloway" para o cinema.
This article aims at dealing with some questions concerning the limits between cinema and literature, taking into account film adaptation as translation. Based on some theoretical principles, which try to systematize a new perspective in translation studies, we discuss the translation of "Mrs. Dalloway" to the screens.

ABSTRACT
This article aims at dealing with some questions concerning the limits between cinema and literature, taking into account film adaptation as translation. Based on some theoretical principles, which try to systematize a new perspective in translation studies, we discuss the translation of "Mrs. Dalloway" to the screens.
