The rat: a hypothesis on value and fear in the contemporary afrobrazilian literature

ABSTRACT

The making of a reconfiguring process in the field of disputes between academia and the Black authorship is the object of the following paper. This work claims to build a theoretical hypothesis that make visible the gears of production of aesthetic value in contemporary Afro-descendant literature. Hence, one intends to mesure the political tensions between the literature produced by individuals racialized as Black in the 21st century and the material conditions of its reception in Brazil.
