The pre-operative planning is presented in a step by step fashion and the surgical technique of the lateral open wedge supracondylar femoral osteotomy for correction of the valgus knee using a fixed angle implant (95º AO angled blade plate). A surgical method for filling in the defect using an autologous bone graft is also presented.
