An evaluation of institutional effects of WTO members' behavior from an analysis of convergence and divergence on the negotiation of GATT, GATS and TRIPS

The paper intends to evaluate the behavior of states before the rules negotiated in WTO in the GATT, GATS and TRIPS agendas. Using the concepts proposed by Botcheva and Martin (2001) of convergence and divergence as well as success and non success of the rules negotiated, we analyze a sample of 30 states.
