Two larvae of Manotes crassimanus and 12 larvae of Pedinocera longicornis were collected under the bark of fallen trees at Ilha da Marambaia (23º04'15" S, 43º53'59" W, sea level), Mangaratiba, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After the emergence of adult, the puparia of those species were described for the first time and compared with other species of Pachygastrinae.
