The Theory of Law, the Digital Age and the Post-Human: the new status of the body under a technological regime and the emergence of the Post-Human Subject of Law

Abstract

This article discusses the legal status to be attributed to the cyber-body. The emergence of the Post-Human will have enormous social impact, and so it is a matter of thinking how the Law will react to these transformations, and how it can promote the protection of the dignity of the human person, in the face of the emergence of the Post-Human Subject of Law, something that affects even one of the most structuring chapters of the Theory of Law.
