Abstract
The aim of this article is to delineate some coordinates that guide a socio-legal research in a histórical perspective around the legislative process that ended in the sanction of que Law 12.331 of Social Prophylaxis of Venereal Diseases. In particular, we focus our analysis in the methodological posibilities that contribute to reflect about this process from a cultural and conceptual focus.
