Abstract
This is an investigation about the “constitutional changes” in the legal argumentation developed by the Brazilian Federal Supreme Court (STF), problematizing the transformation of the meaning of some legal rules such as the Republican Principle in the judgment of QO-AP 937. The research discusses the methodological adoption of "perversion figures", especially the thesis of "zones of autarchy or arbitrariness" in José Rodrigo Rodriguez's argument about Franz Neumann’s thinking.
