The paper points out the health clubs for exercising and gymnastics as a new area for the nurse's professional practice. It reports an experience in which, through the nursing appointment, health problems such as inguinal hernia, pathological deviations of the spinal cord, hypertension, varicose veins, tobacco addiction and its consequences were identified and solved or the person was advised to look for the proper community health care centers.
