The purpose of the paper is to unveal to the emotinal support provided to children with cancer and their family by the nursing staff. By this, a qualitative methodology was applied, making possible a comprehensive analysis of the statements ofthe nursing staff that lliving this situation. The convergence of these speeches were analyzed, enabling the identification of some significant units that can give subsidies to guide the emotional support provided by the nursing team.
