Analysing the population's health nowadays, we feel that it's needed a bigger participation of the nursing students, in the fight for better conditions of health.
In this work, we discussed health concepts, compared estabilish sistems from four countries, with base in statistics, analyzed some health determinants and put them against the reality of our social point of view, in order to discuss the role of the student and the professional in nursing. According to the needs their education seems to be worried about the specialized work (specialist people), breaking the critic conciencious development.
Our point is a possible development in the research area and some contribution to the argument "Health for all", and its implication in the bond wich exists between health social-econimics politic in our country.
