The purpose of the work is placed on the analysis and discussion about the Nursing Student's Perceptions and expectations in relation to the Brazilian Nursing Association. Based on opinions emitted by nursing students from the Universities of Rio de Janeiro City, through methodical search and bibliographic reference, the authors inted to show the importance of the future professional's participation and integration in the associative life, having and view the increase of the class association and the progress of the profession
