The purpose of this study is to identify reasons why nurses do or do not take part in improvement programs offered either by their place of work or by other institutions. It also aims at the importance given to these programs. This data will provide important subsidies for the planning of nursing improvement programs. Data are being compiled by use of a questionnaire with per-structured questions followed by an interview. A quantitative and qulitative analysis will be dealt based on this information
