The I-SiTE is a laser scan device whick permits measurement of spacial position and natural color of 6.000 points per second, detailing in three dimensions objects, surfaces and structures. This article shows results of work that has been done in Taquari-Vassouras and Timbopeba mines and in Tubarão Harbour, all belonging to CVRD, with the objective to disclose their true topographies. This method of topographical survey is promising since it proved productive and efficient in several areas of application.
