EDITORIAL

This issue brings the 75th year of REM to an end and due to a lot of improvements, we have a lot to commerate. As such, we wish to share this victory with all those who have given us their support.

As any growing enterprise, we still have goals to be met, such as creating a greater impact and moving toward more international circulation, among others. In September, REM participated in the Second Seminar for Brazilian Periodical Performance, as part of JCR 2010. It was held at the FAPESP headquarters in São Paulo, Brazil. This seminar proved to us that our idea of projecting the use of English in our publications is on the right path and that in doing so, the power of publication circulation increases, permitting the participation of international referees.

Our publication will continue to publish articles in Portugues, but only when they are destined for local interest. All others will be published in English. For this motive, all future articles registered on our site should come accompanied with their translation, when applicable.

We recommend that the translations be made by American Journal Experts http://www.journalexperts.com that work with a majority of the Brazilian maganzines. Also, site translators (such as Google, Traduka, etc.) will not be accepted. The authors have other options, but those that translate must be skilled professionals and they must attest to their work.

REM already publishes articles from foreign countries and we believe that with this new measure, circulation of the magazine will grow. With our growth, it is also believed that we can benefit our subscribers by increasing author contacts and contributing to global knowledge dispersment. Prof. Jório Coelho Publisher
