Prospecção aluvionar aplicada a alguns minerais gemológicos de Minas Gerais: diamante, crisoberilo e topázio

Alluvial prospecting carried out in drenages in which three gem minerals (diamond, chrysoberyl and topaz) are mined, aimed to contribute to the knowledge of mineral associations and to the distribution trends in the fluvial systems. Under similar conditions, a "dispersion rate" relative to each mineral has been found, showing probably decreasing values from diamond to topaz. This technique, if improved by modern analytics, is of primary importance for determining and evaluating alluvial mineralized areas.
