Weaving narratives in the drawing series “Playing card threads” and “Reminiscences”

ABSTRACT

This text describes my two more recent drawing series, “Playing card threads” and “Reminiscences”, which have as mainstream idea the human necessecity of building narratives as a way to be in the world, as states Paul Ricoeur in one of his studies. Both series consider the narration process as a starting point to build and rebuild memories and imagination.
