The method of Faust et al: removal of floating material by using a metallic loop

The efficiency of the use of a wire loop for the removal of floating parasitic elements was investigated. The quantity of elements removed by each successive loopfull was confronted with a logarithmic model which indicated that each loopfull carried about 30% of the remaining floating parasitic elements. It was estimated that the first five loopfulls carried a total of 83% of the floating parasitic elements, being this adequate procedure for the method under investigation.
