O leitor: o Outro indispensável

This essay discusses Freud’s literary style and the space that writing occupies in the creation of psychoanalysis. The purpose of the study is to use this issue to encounter the reader’s essential presence in Freud’s writings. Besides the unquestionable aesthetic effect that Freud’s writings have on their readers, the indispensable effect of these latter on his act of writing is also approached.
