Contributions of Edith Stein's phenomenology to the work of psychologists at Family Health Support Centers (NASF)

This paper presents a dialogue between classical phenomenology, psychology and primary mental health care, focusing on the practice of psychologists working at family health strategy support centers (NASFs). We highlight the importance of conceptions beyond each individual's pathology and suffering, grounded on respect, freedom, solidarity and the legitimacy of one's own uniqueness and that of the community as characteristics inherent to human beings.

Mental health; primary health care; phenomenology; health psychology
