São apresentadas a descrição de Vellozia candida J.C.Mikan, ilustrações e análise de sua distribuição geográfica e sistemática, bem como a lectotipificação de um de seus sinônimos.

ABSTRACT

Description of Vellozia candida J.C.Mikan, ilustrations, and an analysis of its geographical distribution and systematics are presented. It is also stablished the leptotypus of one of its synonyms.
