Abstract

The present work is part of floristic studies of Serra Negra, included in the complex of Mantiqueira, south of Zona da Mata in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Serra Negra mountain range is composed of a mosaic of vegetation types, where campos rupestres and altitude forests are the dominant physiognomies. Convolvulaceae is represented in the region by three genera and six species: Distimake macrocalyx, Ipomoea aristolochiifolia, I. maurandioides, I. saopaulista, I. triloba, and Jacquemontia blanchetii, species widely distributed in Brazil.
