Abstract
Four species of Meliaceae were found in the cangas of Serra dos Carajás, Pará state, Brazil: Guarea macrophylla, G. pubescens, G. silvatica and Trichilia micrantha. Morphological descriptions, illustrations, taxonomic comments, geographical distribution and habitat of each species are presented.
