Estudo da coagulação em um caso de hepatite de lábrea

A case of Labrea's hepatitis has allowed us to study the behavior of some coagulation factors in that disease. The main objectives were: 1. To measure the plasmatic concentration of the blood coagulation factors: 2. To further our understanding of that disease, including the hemorragic manifestations; 3. To correlate the severity of the clinical picture and prognosis with the intensity of change of the blood coagulation factors. The results showed great alterations of blood coagulation, suggesting that besides the infectius picture the patient had also developed a disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome.

Hepatitis; Black fever; Coagulation; Disseminated intravascular coagulation
