AA case of muco-cutaneous entomophthoromycosis in a 39 year old man is presented. The patient was treated and considered cured but two years later he had a recurrence associated with diabetes. He showed at this time, besides lesions of the nasal mucosa and skin, ulceration and perforation of the palate. Microscopically, hyphae were frequent but the Höeppli-Splendore phenomenon was absent. The authors discuss the differential diagnosis from mucormycosis.
