Doença de Weil com uremia prolongada

An unusual case of the so-called "Weil syndrome" is reported in which the hyperazotemic períod lasted as long as eight loeeks. The clinical course was characterized by several serious complications, which promtep the patient to remain in hospital for over 100 days. In spite of the seriousness of the disease, there was complete clinical recovery hesides that the renal function. The authors further briefly summarize both the anatomical lesions as well as the functional impairment of the kidneys in the condition
