Consumption of a feeding supplement by expectant and nursing mothers at a Health Service in Ribeirão Preto, SP (Brazil)

The way in which expectant and nursing mothers take the protein supplement "Gestal" prescribed for them by a S. Paulo State Health Service is described. Whether the quantity taken is the same as that prescribed is also investigated.
