The dimensions of production of the commons and health

The aim of this work is to trace a problematic field that is potentially posed for the health field and could feed it of new powers of invention. The basic assumption is: there is a problem of the commons which cannot be solved simply on political-legal and economic division of the world between public and private, leading to a problematic perspective that overcomes dichotomies that limit thought and action in the health field (public-private, nature-culture, etc.). After recognition of the presence of the commons notion in the European political and intellectual history, we seek support in philosophical thought, focusing on how this problem appears in the philosophy of Spinoza, Deleuze and Negri. This path makes possible to explore other dimensions of the problem of the commons, already specified as a problem of production of the commons. It explores mainly the so called ontological dimension, since other dimensions are related. This multidimensional understanding of the commons allows a replacement of the problems in the health field, which will be preliminarily explored in this essay around two main issues: health as a value-affect and as a result of the work (onto-creative human activity). It concludes with considerations on the centrality of the production of the common on work organization and in the production of wealth in contemporary capitalism and on how urgent is the political task of constituting the commons as a democratic public sphere, so that the "cooperative singularities", which produce and depend of these commons, could preserve their rights and control over it.
