This essay has as main aim to revisit some of the sociopolitical fundamentals of the technologies in health as a socio-historical construction and as strengthened virtuous public good, thus reflexively contributing to a sociopolitical and democratic management of innovations in health in juridical, regulatory and ethical terms, from a normative perspective of the principles and guidelines of real and possible Unified Health System.
