Bioethics and genetic mapping in the selection of workers

The article examines ethics in the use of genetic mapping in the selection of workers. It discusses about the Third Industrial Revolution and the genetic profile of the workers, considering the pros and cons of the possible use of genetic selection. It discusses the use of genetic information and its repercussion on workers' health, as well as the ethical obligations involved. It appeals to the bioethics pleas with focus on the statements of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco). It concludes ensuring that scientific and technological progress must be understood by the companies and legislation as an instrument of inclusion and acceptance, and not as a form of discrimination and exclusion.
