Primary care professionals' narratives about the national policy of black population integral health

The Brazilian National Health Council, on november 10th, 2006 approved the Policy of Integral Health of the Black Population. The objective of the research is perceive the meaning attributed by the care workers of primary care about the Policy of Integral Health of the Black Population. Methodology: Social Construccionism, with a semi-structured interview. The analysis was made through the map of association of ideas. The narratives of professionals brought up that the black population policy should not represent social responsibility and is taken as unnecessary and as discrimination's promoter. We observed that the issues showed by primary care professional are related to the racial democracy myth.
