O pensamento social e político Latino-Americano: etapas de seu desenvolvimento

This article aims to trace a panorama of Latin American thought. This panorama begins with the influence of the romanticism and the positivism in the early years of independence, then the rising of the nationalism and the emergence of the so called "developmental-ism" and "dependent-ism". At the end, it presents the critical perspective of post-colonialism. The proposal is not to describe the theories in depth, but to create interest for the most prominent Latin American writers.
