The vegetation cover and water resources in Cerrado must be preserved, but what we notice is that most of Minas Gerais' Cerrado has suffered intense deforestation of its vegetation cover and increasing pollution of its water sources. Therefore, this research aims to show the use of geotechnologies to the natural resources mapping of river basin Paranaiba in Cerrado area of Minas Gerais (between 16°13' - 20°12' S and 46°03' - 50°56'W), in order to assist the management and conservation of these resources. The mapping of the vegetation cover and land use shows that only 28.56% of the study area is still covered by vegetation. The Index map of Water Quality shows that most of the verified indexes vary from medium (50<WQI<70) and good (70<WQI<90). The results presented from the use of technologies of obtaining, storage, handling and presentation of georeferenced data show important diagnosis data in the studied area and allow a breakthrough in environmental studies of river basin Paranaíba in Cerrado's area of Minas Gerais.
