Segregation in the District of Cartagena de Indias: an approach from the spatial distribution of the population

The distribution of the population within a city is associated beyond proximity to economic activity scenarios to societal order elements, generated from the convergence of other factors shaping the dynamics of it. For addressing regional situations, positions the need for new strategies or guidelines for the development of territories proof is territorial cohesion, which aims to combat the imbalances that segregation. In this exercise, an analysis of the specificity of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia Caribbean city, whose characteristics can analyze the phenomenon of segregation, since the features that coexist within the same.
